Recruitment services for clients are provided under a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement applies.

Valens provides financial-services recruitment, including executive search, permanent recruitment, contract and interim hiring, team builds, candidate due diligence and market insights, across the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Canada.

Information on the Website is a general description of our services. It is not an offer, and services are subject to agreement on specific terms.

• Submit false, misleading or someone else's information

4. Candidates

• You confirm that the information and CV you submit are accurate, complete and your own.
• By submitting your CV, you consent to us assessing it and contacting you about suitable opportunities.
• We will not send your CV to a prospective employer for a specific role without first discussing it with you, unless you have given broader consent.
• You agree that we may carry out verification of your employment history, qualifications and references, and arrange background checks where a role requires it.
• We do not charge candidates any fee for finding them employment.
• Submitting a CV does not guarantee an interview, offer or placement.

Your personal information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

5. Clients & Employers

• Fees, payment terms, replacement terms and other commercial conditions are set out in the written terms of business agreed with each client.
• Candidate details we introduce are confidential and may be used only to assess the candidate for the role concerned.
• Introducing a candidate to a third party without our written consent may make the client liable for our fee as set out in the terms of business.
• While we carry out due diligence on candidates, clients remain responsible for their own hiring decisions and for any checks required by law or their regulators.
• Clients agree to provide accurate information about roles and to comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws.

6. Equal Opportunity

We are committed to equal opportunity. We assess candidates on their skills, experience and suitability for a role, and we do not accept instructions that discriminate on any ground protected by applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, design, layout and branding, belongs to Valens or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

8. Confidentiality

We treat client briefs and candidate information as confidential and share them only as needed to provide our services, as required by law, or with permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DueDiligence Valens Consultancy is registered, unless a written agreement with a client states otherwise. Mandatory consumer and data protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.
